A drug-trafficing gang took control of a woman’s assets

A woman who owns a house, a commercial space and two apartments located in Tirrases, Curridabat, lost her assets because a group of young people who are allegedly involved in drug trafficking took control of them.

The victim, surnamed Castillo, informed that she doesn’t receive any money from her assets, instead, members of the “Pollo” gang charge everything:

I am depressed, I have gained weight, I had to abandon my home and I am not receiving the money that corresponds to me for the rents. I do not know what to do, I never imagined this, I’m shocked.

The organized community against crime is not useful and authorities are not willing to help her.

Those who are renting my properties give the monthly payment to these people, they have damaged the infrastructure and even stole 90 new layers of zinc I had, then I found out that a neighbor was selling them. I’ve been out of my neighborhood for four years  after they tried to kill me in a gun-fight,

informed Castillo.

She has been attacked and was shot on her leg.  Authorities know the sitution and they are investigating her case.
