A new airline aims to land in Costa Rica

A new airline aims to land in Costa Rica.

It is Transportes Aéreos Regionales (TAR), from Mexico, which intends to start operations in Central America next year.

The plan is to connect the Mexican Mayan zone with the Caribbean and Central America mean destinations.

The airline started with an expansion plan to the United States. It connected Queretaro to Antonio, Texas. Soon, other destinations such as Phoenix, Tucson and Los Ángeles will join.

Other airlines have decided to expand their operations to Costa Rica. That was the case of Venezuelan Airline Albatros, which in May established 3 direct, weekly flights from Caracas to San José.

TAR plans to provide nonstop flights in countries like Cuba, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Honduras, Guatemala and Panama.
