A woman surnamed Peralta was caught by authorities at the bus stop in the border area of La Cruz, where police officers asked her to show her belongings.
When checking the bag, officials found several packages containing cocaine. In total, this woman carried 2.85 kilos of cocaine.
The case was reported to the Drug Control Police (PCD) of the Ministry of Public Security for the corresponding investigations and the transfer of Peralta to the Liberia Public Prosecutor’s Office.
