Honduran man arrested for carrying 87 kilos of cocaine

Officers of the security forces seized 87 kilos of cocaine carried by a Honduran man in Sabanilla de Coto Brus on Saturday.

Officers boarded a vehicle, since the driver was nervous, decided check him with trained dogs, which found 87 packages of cocaine.

In the car there were several compartments made to hide the goods, so the officers immediately coordinated with the Drug Control Police (PCD), which made the final count.

Following the discovery, the subject named Padilla was placed in the custody of the local prosecutor’s office.
