A Nicaraguan man surnamed Paiz was arrested on Thursday by the Immigration Police in Peñas Blancas.
Paiz was trying to enter the country after being in Nicaragua for 6 months but when his documents were checked, it was confirmed that he was wanted in Costa Rica by the judicial authorities of Pavas, for a sexual abuse crime.
The detainee was taken to the cells of the Judicial Investigation Organization (OIJ) in Liberia.
