Authorities deported five mareros who were hidden in the country

The Professional Migration Police deported five Salvadorans who were linked to maras and who had criminal records in their country of origin or in the United States.

As reported by the entity, the decision was made after results obtained after inquiries made to police databases. Thus it was determined that the subjects had links with highly dangerous groups such as maras and other gangs.

The foreigners were handed over to the authorities of El Salvador, for the corresponding procedures, because some were wanted for interrogatories and verification of pending issues,”

said the Professional Migration Police.
