Chaos at COSEVI! Users started to complain and protest

Road Safety Council (COSEVI) offices were invaded by chaos: its public was fed up after long, more-than-2-hours waiting lines to do paperwork.

The incident occurred at 4 pm: users realized that they wouldn’t be served. As consequence, they started to complain.

The scandal was such that security forces had to go to the place.

Regarding the situation, Carlos Rivas, director of COSEVI, declared that people need to remember that COSEVI shares facilities with Road Safety Education on the issue of licensing and that area is directed by the Ministry of Public Works and Transport.

We can’t interfere with the schedule, the service or the way they work,

explained the official.

He added that people leave everything to the last minute and arrive almost at the end of the business day to make their licensing procedures and that leads to extreme situations.
