CNE handled more than 10 incidents due to rainfall

This weekend, The National Emergency Commission (CNE) handled more than 10 incidents of floods in different parts of the country.

According to Sigifredo Pérez, Chief of CNE Operations, Golfito and Quepos were the most affected areas by the rains.

Peréz also indicated that in the case of the fire in Mata Redonda, Sabana Sur, the CNE provided supplies, futons and blankets to the affected people.

He also said that, on Sunday, the relevant assessments of the affected places were made. However, he said that at the moment there are no requirements from the Municipal Committees of Emergency.
