CNFL plans to install charging stations for electric vehicles

Compañía Nacional de Fuerza y Luz (CNFL) and the Ministry of Environment and Energy (MINAE) presented a new strategy focused on promoting electric transportation.

Víctor Solís, CNFL’s general manager, explained that they want the population to have more options to access this type of initiatives, and the company Motorsport backed them by offering electric motorcyles.

Edgar Gutiérrez, Minister of environment and energy, stated that electric technology for vehicles is starting to be a reality in the country.

In the national energy plan there is a clear path toward the direction we want the country to take in the coming years. We want to go electric. Power suppliers already agreed to install charging stations in the roads of our country”
