Comptroller and Director of CONAVI will be held accountable for the conditions of the road network

On Thursday, the Public Expenditure and Income Commission approved the motion for the National Roadway Council (CONAVI) to render accounts regarding the audit results on paved roadways.

The petition was presented eight days ago and it was approved unanimously. Yorleny León, from National Liberation, promoted this accountability because the report of the Comptroller General of the Republic (CGR) states that the shortcomings in the works made by CONAVI do not guarantee an optimal service for users.

The Comptroller General, Martha Acosta, Mario Rodríguez, Executive Director of CONAVI and Alejandro Navas, Director of the LANNAME were also called to the commission.
