Deaths on the road continue to rise

Traffic accidents continue to claim victims. In the last hours, the rescue units reported the death of two men who lost their lives on the road in Nicoya, Guanacaste, and in Puerto Jiménez, Golfito.

At 6:24 p.m. a collision between a motorcycle and a minibus left the balance of a deceased. As reported by the Fire Department, the motorcycle driver died on the scene after the impact. In Puerto Jiménez, a collision of three vehicles claimed the life of the second man.

Until this Tuesday, the traffic police reported more than 445 victims of road accidents.

Likewise, in the last hours an accident was reported in Matina, where two people were injured but are now in stable conditions.
