Dengue cases increased in just one week

In just seven days dengue cases in Costa Rica increased to 403.

Throughout the year, 8,741 patients were reported. However, on Wednesday, that number rose to 9,144. The information comes from the latest epidemiological bulletin published by the Ministry of Health.

Regarding chikungunya cases, the number of patients went from 1,573 to 1,597 in just one week, whereas Zika cases rose to 159 patients (19 in one week).

Health authorities urge the population to destroy breeding ground for mosquitos.
