Ebais insist on importance of papilloma vaccine

The second papilloma vaccination campaign officially began on December 2nd, aimed at girls under 10 years of age. Families are asked to allow girls to be protected.

This will be the second dose that children receive. The first one was administered in educational centers six months ago.

It is important that parents are aware of the importance of their daughters having this second dose to prevent cervical cancer, which develops from a persistent infection of the human papillomavirus and over the years causes injuries and it transforms into cancer,”

said Kathlen Barquero, nursing coordinator of the Santa Ana Health Area.
