Family of drug traffickers arrested in Guácimo

A couple and their daughters were arrested at Villa Francia de Guácimo in Limón, as they are suspected of forming a narc-family in the area.

They had weighing items, firearms, ammunition and drugs, which are now in the hands of the Drug Control Police (PCD).

In total, the authorities received five complaints filed through the confidential line 1176 of the PCD.

A total of six people were allegedly involved in the distribution and sale of drugs.

The organization operated in Los Ángeles area of Guácimo.

The detainees were identified as:
-Blackwood, alias “Tatu” or “Pajarito”, 25, with a record for aggravated robbery, illegal possession of a weapon, threats to authority and drug trafficking.
-Sevilla, Nicaraguan, with residence card and no criminal record.
-Palma, a 43-year-old woman, with a file for the introduction of drugs to a criminal center and her daughters, 17 and 14 years old.
-Torres, 22, with a record for threats to authority, possession of drugs and damages.

PCD agents seized 189 doses of marijuana, 22 doses of crack, five doses of cocaine, a plastic wrapper containing cocaine waste, 171,400 colones in cash, a 38-caliber revolver, 36 shells and an electronic weighing device.
