First day of Palmares ended with arrests and confiscations

The first day of the Palmares celebration ended with an arrest and confiscation of drugs and liquor.

At 5 p.m. on Thursday the Ministry of Health and the Municipality of Palmares had made 50 confiscations of unauthorized sale of alcohol and barbecue.

Those who incurred in this contravention must carry out administrative procedure and pay a fine. The confiscated liquor was destroyed.

In addition, the Red Cross reported a patient who received a kick from a horse and 23 patients who needed mild attention, mainly due to heatstroke.
