Luis Guillermo Solís ranks last among Central American leaders

President Luis Guillermo Solís continues with a negative score and he remains in the last place of approval among the leaders of Central America and the Dominican Republic.

This was revealed by the Cid Gallup Public Opinion Survey of the last quarter of the year.

On the other hand, the Danilo Medina, President of the Dominican Republic, ranked first, now that he is facing his second period with 68 percent of favorable opinions.

The rest of the leaders do not receive the majority of the support. Daniel Ortega from Nicaragua got 48 percent, Jimmy Morales from Guatemala 41 percent and Juan Orlando Hernández from Honduras had 40 percent.

Luis Guillermo Solís is also surpassed by Juan Carlos Valera from Panama and Salvador Sánchez, president of El Salvador.

The Costa Rican president is in the last place with only 10 percent favorable opinions.

The interviews were conducted between September and October with at least 1,100 interviews per country. The margin of error of the sample is 2.8 points with a confidence of 95 percent.
