The Ministry of Economy, Industry and Commerce (MEIC) started an investigation against Continental Travel agency, because there were some people who could not travel to Mexico to watch the Costa Rican football team match.
Cinthya Zapata, from the Consumer Support Office, confirmed the information and said that up to now they have received 5 complaints, but that they could increase, because there are some other people who could travel, but who reported that the company didn’t fulfill its obligations in Mexico.
At the moment, they are evaluating the documents that the affected ones received, because “they had very little information”.
If we consider that it is a crime and the case is not our responsibility, we would file a complaint along with our consumers,
said Zapata.
