Nicoya’s protesters against Solís

Opposition to the project of animal abuse and promises made in campaign to help those affected by Nemagón pesticide were the two themes of the posters trotted around by people from Guanacaste who held a demonstration in park Briceño Recadero in Nicoya.

President Solís said that this administration is committed to animals, who are like humans’ younger siblings, and that the government will continue to support that law somehow maintaining the tradition of bull fighting.

The leader of the protesters, Randall Briceño, said they don’t want said law’s approval because it brings no benefits.
