Solís supports COMEX minister

July 26, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Laura Garro, Franklin Corella, Otton Solís, Epsy Campbell, Marvin Atencio, Javier Cambronero, Nidia Jiménez, Emilia Mora, Marco Vinicio Redondo, Henry Mora and Marlene Madrigal, 11 out the 13 members from the Citizen Action Party (PAC) requested the resignation of Minister of Foreign Trade, Alexander Mora.

However, President Luis Guillermo Solís ratified his official support to the minister, and said he is a hardworking, responsible man who works with a very difficult portfolio with an undoubted leadership.

The legislators singed the request after the minister’s actions on the possible accession of Costa Rica to the Pacific Alliance. They all agree that Minister Mora should refrain from speaking in favor of the Pacific Alliance at a time when the Solís’ Government has no clear position on this trade agreement.
