Northern Zone residents were evacuated due to flooding

Yesterday, the Public Force was working in the evacuation of people in the North of the country, due to river flooding caused by heavy rains.

The emergency occurred in the sector of Caño Ciego de Los Chiles, where several families had to be evacuated due to the flooded canal. About 14 people were affected.

There were no reports of units sent by the Red Cross or the Fire Department.

The heavy rains in the northern region of the country caused damage to homes and crops.
