The New York Times highlighted Costa Rica among the 20 destinations that must be visited by twentysomething people.

The publication stated that one of the best ways to change the perception of the world is by traveling at a young age.

It’s a good way to experience different cultures, meet new friends and make memories for a lifetime. But to travel in your twenties poses some challenges: financial constraints, limited time off work and safety issues,”

cited the American newspaper.

However, the list made by the NY Times shows an analysis of accessible and appropriate destinations for young people. For example, it excludes cities like New York or Paris.

But why Costa Rica?

Because of its tropical forests, beaches and reasonably low-price hotels. Besides, it offer ‘creative ways’ to have fun like horseback riding or rafting, and there are flights to Costa Rica from many places of the world,”

explained the article.

The list shows other destinations such as Prague, Cuba, Amsterdam, Patagonia, New Orleans, Berlin, Montreal, Vietnam, Budapest, Barcelona and Morocco, among others.

In recent years, prestigious newspapers in Europe and America have mentioned Costa Rica as one of the most booming tourist destinations in the world.
