PLN forgot box with ballots in Pérez Zeledón school

A box with electoral material corresponding to the district process and the convention of the National Liberation Party held on Sunday was found in a school located in Pérez Zeledón.

As explained by Alvis González, president of the National Electoral Tribunal of the PLN, once received the report, the box was sent to the prosecutors of the two trends and the official representative of the Party to find out what happened.

González explained that the school had been given two boxes with ballots, one of which was forgotten at the polling station.

The contents of the boxes were checked and corroborated with the registration register and found to be complete and intact, however, they will again undergo a review at the Party headquarters.

So far, this has been the only incident recorded after the convention process.
