Partial closure in Pérez Zeledón for road surface marking

August 4, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Route 2 of Pérez Zeledón center will be closed partially for road marking works, from Wednesday until Saturday.

The works will focus specifically from Ferremax to the junction with Route 243, at the end of section 10010.

To avoid transit interruption the marking works will be done from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m in approximately 900 meters.

According to Cristian Vargas, Manager of Roads and Bridges’ Conservation, this is a good time to do the markings with thermoplastic paint, since this route is in good conditions.

The route has 2 lanes in each direction and only one will be closed to work, while the other will be available.

The estimated investment is 22 million colones.
