Police operations continue in the Caribbean

The national authorities continue with different operations in the national Caribbean.
According to the Public Force, in the last hours actions were taken on different roads and bars in the province of Limón.

For example, the Public Force arrested two men with modified firearms in Guácimo and two other subjects carrying daggers and one firearm.

The subjects Pérez and Otoya were carrying a modified firearm without the respective permits in Guácimo, where they tried to flee a road stop.

They ditched the gun with the modified magazine, but it was located by the officers.

In addition, two men named Mora and Godínez were arrested for carrying a homemade weapon, and a 20-centimeter dagger.

On the other hand, operations were carried out in San Gerardo de Ticabán and Guápiles.

In total, police seized 577 beers and closed two bars for breaching schedules.

The Public Force worked together with municipal personnel and the Traffic Police.

Last week, the Judicial Investigation Agency dismantled a gang in Guápiles and arrested 18 people.
