November 18, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Some drug dealers were arrested in Alajuela. Among those arrested, there is an officer from the Operational Support Group (GAO) of the Public Force.

The suspect, surnamed Sandí Fonseca, allegedly sold the drug that he seized in the operations he was part of. After multiple raids and detentions in Turrúcares, this was confirmed by the Public Ministry.

Moreover, a Dominican known as ‘Mier’ was identified as the leader of an organization that used to sell drugs in Turrúcares of Alajuela and surrounding communities.

According to Eduardo Fallas, deputy director of the OIJ of Alajuela, nobody was injured during the raids and the suspect could be controlled by the officers.

The raids were carried out in Turrúcares, Ciruelas and Barrio San José in Alajuela.
