President of the Congress will meet with Solís to negotiate tax reform

The president of the Legislative Assembly, Gonzalo Ramírez, will meet on Tuesday with President Luis Guillermo Solís to pave the way for a tax reform and define the route for discussing projects in this area, from now until the end of April.

I want to ask President Solis to build a bridge and listen to the concerns of the heads of the parties and the independent legislators about the fiscal projects, not in isolated meetings, but in a joint meeting, and from there we define the route we are going to take,”

assured Gonzalo Ramírez.

Ramírez indicated that he is interested in defining the route for fiscal issues, the option of giving a fast track to the bill to strengthen public finances and achieve an agenda of agreement for the legislative fractions.

Ramirez requested the appointment with the President of the Republic after the leaders of the parties tried in vain to do the same last week.
