Ottón Solís urges Constitutional Reform

December 13, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Legislator and founder of Partido Acción Ciudadana (PAC), Ottón Solís, called on the Legislative Assembly to expedite the process of a Constitutional Reform that would sanction Legislators with the withdrawal of their credentials if they fail to their probity duty.

Here at the Assembly we talk about ethics, we criticize others for corruption, but we are protected…we cannot be touched, I can do an act of corruption here, take half of this building and nobody can do anything,”

said the legislator.

Solís also stated that he is very surprised because the initiative is not moving forward, despite the fact that political parties highlight the ethical issue.
