Puma that “visited” Ciudad Quesada was released in the wild

The puma that visited a backyard in Ciudad Quesada on Thrusday morning was released back in the wild the same day around noon.

After a veterinarian evaluation, it was determined that it was a male of about 50 kilos of about 8 years old. No injuries were found, so it is suspected that he went into the backyard looking for food.

Due to his good health conditions, the animal was released in a mountainous area between San Carlos and San Ramón, about 10 kilometers from where he was found, instead of taking him to the Rescue Center.
