Rains to rise in Pacific and Caribbean in next few days

The National Meteorological Institute (IMN) announced that a cold front and low pressure system will affect the country in the coming days.

This will cause an increase in rainfall in areas of the South Pacific and the Caribbean as this low pressure system and the fourth cold front of the season directly affects the country.

The combination of both systems will induce rainfall in the Pacific and the Caribbean. They will also increase the winds,”

said Juan Carlos Fallas, director of the IMN.

By now, 29 affected communities are reported in the South Zone. The rains could increase until next Sunday and conditions could continue next week.

In addition, a decrease in temperature is expected, especially in the Central Valley.
