Rescue agency relocates a few families who stayed near Turrialba

The National Emergency Commission (CNE) evacuated some families who had refused to leave their homes, located within the 1,24 miles perimeter around the Turrialba volcano.

Ivan Brenes, president of ICE, said that are about four families to be temporarily relocated until conditions become normal.

Experts expected that the Turrialba will continue emitting ashes with fumes spreading in the surroundings and toward the Central Valley.

So far, 30 communities have been affected by ashes falling. Some of these locations are: San Rafael de Heredia, San Rafael Oreamuno, Three Rivers, Tejar del Guarco, Aserri and Bijagual Turrubares.
