The private bank Scotiabank de Costa Rica reported that its branches will be closed throughout the weekend and holiday because an internal update will run on its technological platform.
The Scotia Online service and ATM network will also be interrupted in the same period.
The closure applies to the 34 branches of the Bank. It started on Saturday and will run until August, 15th.
According to the Bank, this update will favor the strengthening of internal systems as part of process improvements necessary for the integration between Scotiabank and Scotiabank Transformándose (formerly known as Citi).
Customers can pay their credit card at branches of Scotiabank Transformándose (must bring the card and make the payment in cash). The schedule of branches can be consulted here.
Scotiabank plans to resume work on Tuesday in all branches and headquarters with regular schedule.
