Strike in Mexico Hospital affects 90% of services

The workers strike in Mexico Hospital on Monday affects about 90% of the services of the medical center.

As confirmed by the press office of the Hospital, only the hematology, oncology, orthopedics, and cardiology cases are currently operating.

The heads of the hospital ask for patience from the policyholders who arrived on Monday, to see if the services could be restored, but they will probably have to reschedule appointments after the negotiations.

According to the unionist Wendy Vargas, from the National Union of Employees of the Fund and Social Security (UNDECA), they want better equipment to perform their duties.

The hospital reported that the strike is carried out by the staff of the Medical Records area, due to a requalification of the service that had to be done not only there, but nationally, and that apparently it hasn’t been addressed.
