Osa’s Prosecutor’s Office succeeded in arresting a man named Araya Salas, who is suspected of possessing and storing cocaine near the Sierpe River in Osa. The arrest took place on Thursday morning, after the prosecution conducted a raid on the site.
The suspect is under the orders of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, where the investigative statement will be taken to subsequently hold the respective request for precautionary measures.
The operation was carried out after the investigation showed he was storing between 1,000 and 1,500 kilograms of cocaine.
After the arrest it was possible to seize the cocaine, which will be weighed and analyzed to establish the exact amount and purity.
