The Liberty Torch arrived to Costa Rica

On September 13rd, the first Costa Rican delegates ran with the Liberty Torch after the exchange in Peñas Blancas, on the border with Nicaragua. It passed through La Cruz, Liberia, Bagaces and Cañas, in Guanacaste.

On September 14th, the torch will go over the rest of the country to reach Cártago at around 8 pm, where the celebration tour of the 195th annniversary of Independence will end.

The police, the Red Cross and the Transit Department will be guarding the tour route.
