Three garbage trucks were filled after celebrations in San José

After the Tope Nacional San José, the amount of garbage left in the streets of the capital required three garbage trucks.

The activity took place on Tuesday afternoon. On Wednesday, cleaning personnel assigned by the Municipality of San José carried out the work to collect the waste left by thousands of horsemen and attendants.

We used three pick-up trucks, two sweeping machines, two tanker trucks for road washing with a capacity of 10 cubic meters each, and two squads with about 30 workers each,”

reported the municipality.

This celebration was held for six hours and ran the following route: Plaza González Víquez, 11th Street, Second Avenue to 14th Street (Hospital San Juan de Dios), and Paseo Colón until the vicinity of Toyota, where it ended.

The popular festivities of San José began on December 25th and will continue until January 7th.
