John Wesley Saatio will be extradited to the United States in the following weeks. According to FOX News, U.S. immigration authorities confirmed this information.
As a real escapist magician, Saatio became famous on June 19th, 2015, when he managed to escape the police escort as he returned to prison after a hearing in Houghton.
Since he doesn’t have a criminal record in Costa Rica, he was referred to the center of apprehension for foreigners located in Hatillo. There he used the opportunity provided by the contempt of some officials who left him alone and escaped.
The convict was recaptured on Tuesday by the security forces after nearly 48 hours on the run.
