Uber offers trips to help victims

Yesterday, Uber said it’s offering trips at no cost to collect food and clothing for the victims of Otto.

According to the company, from Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. and until 3:00 p.m., the products that will be collected are non-perishable food, water, clothing and footwear in good condition.

Those interested can donate by following the following steps:

– Select the uberAYUDA option
– Call the Uber. A collaborative partner will go to pick up your donation.

The products received will be collected at an activation center and later delivered to the Costa Rican Red Cross.

Take into account that:

– Items donated must be in good condition
– They must be in a bag or box
– The collaborative partner come to the address. The donor must go out to deliver donation, because the driver cannot leave the vehicle unattended.
