A Guatemalan man with no criminal records, identified as García (45), was captured in Peñas Blancas, by the Police Drug Control Department (PCD), after being the prime suspect of transferring a load of 22 kilos of cocaine hidden in the trailer he was driving.
The foreigner was headed to his country of origin when border agents discovered the drugs and cash. The subject could face a sentence of 8-20 years in prison for international drug trafficking.
The trailer entered the country on August 7th.
