The Public Force and the Coast Guard arrested three Guatemalans who were hiding and had left their identity documents in a boat aground on Cabuyal de Nacascolo beach in Liberia, Guanacaste.

Public Security authorities found the boat, identity documents from Guatemala and empty fuel containers. At the time, they also arrested a Mexican named Flandes, who had been arrested in Cartago for possession of cocaine in 2009.

Search efforts continue to determine the existence of evidence of some kind of drug.
