Legislators requested the Comptroller General to investigate the overpayment

Legislator Sandra Piszk, from Partido de Liberación Nacional (PLN), asked the Comptroller General of the Republic to investigate the ¢ 30 million overpayment that vice-Minister of the Presidency Ana Gabriel Zúñiga received as a wage incentive without meeting the requirements.

The legislator addressed a letter to Comptroller General of the Republic Marta Acosta, in which she reminds her that it is the third time that such a case has been presented in this administration and she referred to the overpayments made through the same incentive to vice-ministers of Governor and Housing Carmen Muñoz and Ana Cristina Trejos, respectively.

Congressmen Karla Garendas and Ottón Solís signed another missive requesting Acosta to clarify whether Zúñiga, in accordance with the national legislation, may or may not receive such an incentive.

In addition, liberationist legislator Juan Marin demanded that the three vice ministers request a loan and return the millions they received.
