Ministry of Security arrested terrorism suspect

Yesterday, Security Ministry officials confirmed the arrest of a person suspected of terrorism.

According to Carlos Hidalgo, spokesman for Public Security, the suspect is a Somali man, whom they apprehended in La Cruz post. The man entered through Paso Canoas.

The alert of the case was provided by US agents located in Panama. The actions by the authorities were immediate and resulted in the arrest of the man.
