PLN has no results!

April 3, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Partido de Liberación Nacional (PLN) suspended the count of voting results to elect a presidential candidate without declaring a winner.

Albis González, president of the PLN Internal Electoral Court, explained that the decision was made because the staff in charge of data digitization was very tired since they have been working long days.

He said that the group will resume the vote process today at 8 am and at noon, they could have a significant estimate.

He indicated that they cannot offer a declaration of victory and that the party has 30 working days to do so.

According to the last count, Antonio Álvarez Desanti reached 45.22%, José María Figueres reached 40.20%, Rolando González 8.04% and Sigifredo Aiza reached 6.53%.
