September 12, 2018 by Staff News Writer

Approximately 10 thousand people joined the national strike against the fiscal plan this Wednesday.

The figure was confirmed by Daniel Calderón, director of Fuerza Pública, in a press conference.

The protest started at about 9:30 a.m. from the statue of León Cortés Castro at the east end of La Sabana Metropolitan Park, and it took Paseo Colón, Second Avenue, reaching the Legislative Assembly.

The objective of public employees is to ask the government to withdraw the bill for the Strengthening of Public Finances from the Legislative Congress.
