12,000 people visited Expo Animal Welfare 2016

August 3, 2016 by Staff News Writer

12 thousand people went to the Expo Animal Welfare (EBA) 2016 that took place in two malls in the country last weekend.

It was a fair in which dozens of organizations and companies dedicated to the care of animals gave pets a space in the aisles of Multiplaza del Este and Escazú.

In addition, the fair collected 6,500 signatures in support of the creation of a law against animal abuse, although there was one already approved in the first reading.

There were activities and sales of pet nutrition, medicine, and cosmetic products, as well as accessories, pet hotels, among others. The fair also allowed to recruit new volunteers for nonprofit organizations that participated in the first edition of the activity.
