15% of Costa Ricans are exposed to work stress

June 16, 2016 by Staff News Writer

According to a recent study conducted by the National University of Costa Rica (UNA), 15 out of every 100 Costa Rican are victims of work stress.

The reasons behind this are: high work volume, few breaks, short time to accomplish tasks, tedious routine, little opportunity to innovate, low development possibilities, and little support from colleagues or bosses.

Work stress causes major damage to general health.
