25 thousand people won’t have water in Tibás

December 18, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Some 25 thousand people could be affected on Tuesday in the canton of Tibás due to lack of water.

The Costa Rican Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers (AyA) informs the population that, due to the installation of valves and maintenance of the Tibás storage tank, they will carry out the interruption of the drinkable water service, from seven in the morning until four in the afternoon.

The affected areas are:
Tibás Central Park, Tibás Municipality, Feria del Norte Shopping Center, Santa Rita Condominium, San Juan de Tibás, Colima Norte Urbanization, La Luchita Urbanization, Ricardo Saprissa Stadium, Valle Dorado Urbanization, Jesús Jiménez Urbanization, Linda Vista, Versalles and surroundings.

The population of these areas must take the necessary measures, while properly and responsibly using this vital liquid. If possible, the service will be restored before the indicated time.
