Arturo Salazar Víquez, a farmer from Cureña Sarapiqui, declared that 29 cows were stolen from his farm a week ago and the economic losses amount to 13 million colones.
19 heifers, 9 calves and 1 bull were stolen. These were carefully kept at his farm and some people occasionally took care of them.
Affected people are requesting other farmes and residents’ collaboration in order to provide any information to the authorities.
The report was subbmited into the Judicial Investigation Department of Sarapiqui on September 21st.
The case is under investigation.
