300 kilos of cocaine found in an Italian boat

June 6, 2018 by Staff News Writer

A total of 300 kilos of cocaine were found inside the container of an Italian-flagged ship that came from Colombia and that after its passage by Costa Rica would arrive in Lisbon, Portugal.

The ship, named MN Cala Palma, was approached by agents of the Drug Control Police (PCD), who checked the ventilation of a refrigerated container on the second floor and found the cocaine.

The anti-narcotics police reported that the vessel was coming from the port of Turbo in Antoquia, Colombia. The drug was packaged in green plastic and had two types of logo.
