Signs to encourage the population to use footbridges are now being placed following an investment of nearly $30,000.

H&M Group, an aggregates, concrete and biodiesel company, joined the celebration of the Road Safety Week, by taking on the beautification of the pedestrian bridge Los Arcos over the General Cañas track.

We join the call of the National Roads Authority for people to use the pedestrian bridge and not risk their lives to cross the main road in the country,”

said Ricardo Monge Herrera, Chairman of H&M.

The company also collaborated with the construction of the pedestrian walkway on the bridge over the Santa Clara River in Florence of San Carlos and with the construction and maintenance of a bus stop in San Josecito de Cutris.
