Karla, Gustavo, Gloriana and Alberto are lifelong friends and every weekend they leave San José to look for new places to visit and walk.

They all have different careers but together they created the site www.quebuenlugar.com to show the most spectacular natural scenery in the country to both Costa Ricans and foreign tourists.

The site makes life easier because it explains how to get to a place, what to take and even who to look for in each area to eat or hire a service.

In Facebook alone they have more than 44,000 followers and their site shows very attractive pictures and videos of their adventures.

In a year they have documented 54 rides and walks from coast to coast, without visiting the same place twice. They even have a list of new locations they want to show to their followers.

This group of friends have helped not only people to plan trips and vacations, but also communities and small entrepreneurs in the towns they have visited. Thanks to their references, many communities started receiving more tourists, something that keeps them going.
